News * Updated Daily * June 5, 2009 - FORMER NWL GRADUATE PASSES AWAY AT 38 - The NWL/HOUSE of PAIN was informed of the passing of one of our graduates and we would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Christopher "Mighty Biggs" Miller. Chris was dealing with numerous health issues when he suffered a stroke this past December. Along with holding many NWL and HoPWF titles, Chris starred in the Matthew Barney film Cremaster 3 which was shot on location in Scotland and also appeared in the April 2002 edition of Vogue Magazine standing next to Olympic gold medalist Sasha Cohen. June 30, 2009 - TUESDAY NIGHT PRACTICE SESSION - A practice session will be held at the HOUSE of PAIN in Hagerstown, MD, on Tuesday, 6-30-09, and bell time is set for 7:30PM. July 3, 2009 - NWL/HOUSE of PAIN ANNUAL "4TH OF JULY" FRIDAY NIGHT PRACTICE SESSION - A special holiday practice session will be held at the HOUSE of PAIN in Hagerstown, MD, on Friday, 7-3-09, and bell time is set for 5:00PM. There will be a cookout for the wrestlers and family members after the practice matches, along with fireworks the fans will be able to watch from the NWL's SPWTC/HOUSE of PAIN parking lot. July 11, 2009 - NWL/HOUSE of PAIN RETURNS TO MARTINSBURG, WV's APOLLO THEATER - SWITCHBLADE TO MANAGE SEXY SHANE SHADOWS - JOHN RAMBO TO MANAGE NWL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION NAPALM - The NWL/HOUSE of PAIN returns to the "air conditioned" historic Apollo Civic Theater on Saturday, 7-11-09. The featured main event will be an NWL Heavyweight Title Match with Napalm defending the title against Sexy Shane Shadows. Shadows will have former NWL hardcore star Switchblade in his corner and John Rambo will manage champion Napalm. Also appearing on the card will be Doink the Clown, NWL Hardcore champ Chuckie manson, Killer Studs' Gustin Uberstud & Giant Killer Brandon Scott, Extremely Cocky's Rocky & Vinnie DiCola, newly crowned HoPWF Tag Team champs Draco & Todd Hill, NWL Tag Team champs Big Easy's Bigtime Cory Bush & EZ Money, HoPWF Cruiserweight champ Flandingo Martinez, HoPWF Heavyweight champ Tremor, Tytan, , Manager of Champions Tuna Forsushi, commissioner Dick Caricofe and all the NWL/HoPWF stars plus a special Junior Division match with champ Brady Hess. There will be a total of 9 matches on the lineup and bell time is set for 7:30PM. Stage seats are $20.00, Balcony seats are $15.00 and General Admission floor seats are $10.00. Tuesday, September 16th, 2008, in historic downtown Leesburg at the
Leesburg Armory. Under the experienced direction and knowledge of
wrestling legend and WWE Hall-Of-Famer AFA THE WILD SAMOAN, the respected
wrestling school offers the award winning training program that has
shaped many of wrestling’s most successful superstars. The Wild
Samoan Training Center, has been a staple as well as a breeding ground
for superstars such as THE ROCK, BATISTA, UMAGA, SNITSKY, BILLY KIDMAN,
CHRIS KANYON, the late YOKOZUNA, WWE Developmental Talents AFA JR.
and SINN, RENO THE BLACK PEARL, TONGA KID, HEADSHRINKER SAMU, his
